Oliver works closely with clients from their initial enquiry, through the design brief, to the completion of the project, which can take from a week to several months, depending on the design and materials used.

Where possible he will visit the client at home to discover the purpose of the piece, surroundings, budget and deadline and to discuss the details that will evolve into the design brief.

Customers are encouraged to visit the workshop to see their work in progress and to share in the delight of seeing their piece of furniture evolve.

We try to respond to a wide variety of design briefs, favouring classical designs with contemporary lines, working in sympathy with the wood and emphasising its natural warmth and feel. Our work is influenced by contemporary aesthetics but led by the basic principles of design with our prime motivation being the desire to create something truly worthwhile, which gives the client and future generations great pleasure.

We aim to produce work that is timeless and will sit comfortably alongside either antique or modern pieces. We believe the bespoke furniture crafted today will be the antiques of the future.
